Hard to say, it could be that B&H just isn't going to carry the white version. My local shop tells people stuff is "discontinued" all the time, when they really mean that they just aren't going to carry it.

A major German mailorder shop have just raised the price for the white EP-1 body by 50%, to 599 euros; it was only 399 three weeks ago, which is their current price for the silver EP-1 body. First they couldn't get rid of it fast enough, then it's become a collector's item.

I agree â€” my enjoyment of my white E-P1 increased immensely from the moment I put an SD card into it. It was as if there was no turning back.
