I haven't taken many pictures of it, but here's one when I was comparing the kit zoom with the Canon 50mm f/1.8 II lens.

Cameras big and small: Sony HX9V, Olympus E-P1, Canon 300D (IR mod), 7D and many others!

OK, another lame iPhone shot, but here is my E-P1 with leatherette skin, CV Color Skopar 21mm, L-M adapter, M-MFT adapter, Canon 50mm VF (outer line works for 42mm), and Artisan Artist strap.

If you aren't into photography, who would think this is a made in 2009 digital camera. ;)

Nice collection you got there mijonju!

Here is another adapter I got today: MF-2, shown with 24mm Zuiko. I think it's a great combination that gives you 48mm view in quite small package. The PEN with this lens will end up a bit smaller than OM-1 with 85mm f2, and the lens including MF-2 adapter is a bit smaller than Nikkor 35mm f2.

I can't decide what I like more, taking pics with the E-P1 or taking pics of the E-P1 :)

Hi mijonju

Since you have a white E-P1, how do you like the looks of it when you use black legacy lenses compared to the silver E-P1 or silver with the leatherette?

I still have not finally decided between white and silver but my preference is leaning towards the white one.

It would be much appreciated if you can post some photos of the white one "wearing" black lenses.

Thank you in advance!

John

Great pictures guys, especially those with old MF lenses, brilliant stuff.
Here's mine with The Panasonic FT-MFT adapter, FT-Pentax PK adapter and SMC Pentax 55mm 1.8
I love it.

That's a cool flash.  Which one is that?  I tried to put my Nissin Di28 flash that I previsously used with my Canon G10 and it didn't work.  Are there any special settings to get non-olympus flashes to get triggered off the hotshoe?

Here is the one I have:

Thanks

Nevermind.  This was on their website.
"
Q02. Is it possible to use the Di28, Di466, Di622 with Pentax or Olympus digital cameras?

No, it is not. They are compatible with Canon (Canon type) or Nikon (Nikon type) only. There are no plans to make them compatible with Pentax nor Olympus cameras.
"

I'd still like to know which one you are using though.

@ Marcram: the flash is an old Agfa bulb type. Utterly useless for a modern day camera, but beautiful in it's design nonetheless. Just for the picture  ;D

I ordered the Metz mecablitz 28 AF-3 TTL Flash for Olympus.  Looks like style-wise, it will match my leatherette e-p1.

I noticed you have a Pentax lens too.  I'm considering the smc PENTAX FA 50mm F1.4 because of it's small size, cheap price, and good reviews.  I'm going to set it up like you have with the 43 to m43 adapter plus 43 to K mount.  This offers much more flexibility than the straight m43 to k coming out.  What made you go with the panasonic adapter over olympus?  The cheaper price?  I heard it was dark grey.  I'm stuck on to get that one or the olympus.  I'm not crazy about having a silver ring with all of my black lenses, but I guess it won't be different than the silver ring on the kit lens.  Thoughts?
