I tried out my old Sonnar 4/135 today. Note the Auto-Aperture button on the left side of the lens. With this lens I can pre-set the aperture and then, just before I take the picture, I simply press that button with my left hand and the aperture closes down to the pre-set value. I believe this design feature is unique to the Exakta and Topcon lenses.

i have a niicely made soligor 250mm f 4.5 with tripod collar, yes now i ubderstaand the value of that button.. excellent to focus open for accuracy and stop down without turning the ring to dtop down

just need an adapter
