It's way too heavy for the PEN. It's almost 2.5x heavier (565gr) than the FDn 50mm f/1.4. So, you won't be seeing me using this one much.

With DOF that shallow, you can make art of almost any situation.

Those are incredibly sharp and beautiful photos! I can't believe that lens performs so well on the E-P1 too.

Would you recommend getting the

55 1.2 SSC
50 1.2
50 1.4

?

I'm shooting a wedding and am considering picking on of these up. Obviously the 1.4 is the least expensive, but, I want to be prepared for a rather dark reception.

Just make sure that 55 is the aspherical version, supposedly best 1.2 ever made.

I recommend 57mm 1.4 hexanon as well if you need cost cutting. Just get a 55 to 28 mm step down ring for it.
